End of one of the siong weeks

It's going to be a long post!

Have to put this up cos i took it during jiemeiz outing hehe.
i luv green tea ice cream! haha. the queue was quite long...

====================================

Had a siong week!
Pharmacotherapy test + Practice Presentation for P1 of FYP...

2 things but actually qt siong cos din really have much free time from all the shuttling between Biopolis lab and NUS lessons. good that i've prepared my drug info sheet before the start of this week so it kind of lightened my load.

so bz that i din even open up my present (1st one this year) from NUSWS bandmates. only opened it when i was on bus 198 this morning:

EARPHONES!

nice~~! i'll protect it with the black pouch which comes along with it.

listening to music now is a new experience. luv the basses and voices now. hahaha all sound like i'm in a music lounge. =) i cant even hear TV mobile when i was on 198 HAHA. and it makes me listen to a lower volume than usual cos of the "inner ear technology" (am i juz sua ku?). and i realise my left inner ear is smaller than my right inner ear.. -_-

thanks NUSWS tuba section + Cloud + Nick!
and danK forgot to remove the receipt. HAHA

=======================================

practice presentation was OK... i was having stage fright (as usual) and coupled with the total lack of practice, fumbled throughout the presentation (i tink). at least, my slides were not bad (i tink). haha. and i could answer some of the qns asked. need to do somemore research tho. received an sms from my external sup that i did a gd job.. -_- i'm like... “真的吗?" ahhaa.. okiez.. i need to rehearse very well before the actual thing.

========================================

jogged together with Lee Cheng. completed ~40% of my 10km run. HAHA! die, so much more to train. i tink jogging will be a weekly affair from now on haha. i like the dinner after the run hehe... the Jap food at Jurong East Entertainment Centre :)

i luv my best friend! It has been more than 11 years! ehehehe :)

========================================

went home and saw the SU email:

UCEP has agreed to accept the essence of NUSSU EXCO’s recommendations. Subject to the final approval of the NUS Senate, both freshmen and seniors will now come under a new S/U policy. This policy will allow for:

  • All undergraduates, regardless of cohort, to exercise S/U options after the release of results. This includes those in their graduating semester
  • A one-off exercise where seniors will be able to see the grades of their previously exercised SU options under the old policy and retract them for use for modules you are currently pursuing or intend to pursue under the new policy
i hope my Terrestial and Coastal and be un-S/Ued.. but i guess CAP wun really change much at this stage le haha (cos yr 4 le, not cos my CAP is super zai can!) !

=========================================

something that made my day:

Me: I'm super tired!!! yesterday got band lo.
Pharmer A: wah u still in band ah? u got cello exam last week oso right?
Pharmer B: 你不可以垮,因为我很欣赏你.

nice to noe u're some "inspirational" support for another person.. of course, it's not so exaggerated... but at least when somebody is tired and sees that others are also trying and working very hard, it can be quite consoling and motivating.

just that, i duno what do pharmers who dun have CCAs do other than study? haha....

but.... mayb i'll stop band next sem. from snrs, last sem is siongest. haha. i'm already struggling to breathe now.. but i'll definitely miss music making and fellow bandmates haha... and of course the "getting-very-funny" conductor.
