Update

Just to let you know, I'm not dead. I'm just too busy to blog

anw, i'm now doing my retail rotation, will be there until next week. Then after that I will be rotated around to Pharmacy-only meds for another 1 week which will be around the same area. Will not go on to tell u the rest of my rotation, i'll take years... haha, just ask me where i am if u plan to drop by :P haha!

really busy these days, waking up in the wee hours of the morning to attend talks and discussions as early as 5.30am (waking time); and means have to sleep early also. overwhelmed by the timeline filled with projects, assignments (clinical discussions and drug profile almost every week), readings, questions which I asked and then kena told "you go and find out", presentations, VIVAs x3, and finally the BOARD EXAM.

just had glulisine DP and communication skills CD today. went overtime till 6.45pm. and i proudly announce i did my first Smoking Cessation today. acty was because the pharmacists are too busy at Outpatient, so when I asked if anybody wants to do, they told me to do... so that's my "First Time". fumbled abit at first, then went on to assess and find out that acty he's not nicotine dependent, so cant sell him the nicotine-replacement gums. just like what they say u'll always rmb the first patient u dispensed to (doesn't happen to me, i dun rmb who i dispensed to in Yr 2), i think i wun forget who my first smoking cessation customer is, since Smoking Cessation counselling is longer than dispensing.

so i think u can understand why i gave up Mus'art last min, though I think it's totally very unprofessional as a musician... and also quite sianz for me to lose a chance to play a world premiere, play in esplanade, and take part in SIBF. but i dun regret giving up even if my reputation may be bad now. i really need the time.

other than work, I have a minimal amount of life, i.e. sometimes also go out with attachee (who said that meeting once a week not enuf so must increase abit more :P ) and other frenz who jio-ed me out like NUSWS (danK's bday), TTTG, Jiemeiz, and jogging with the pharmacists.

okiez. need to zzz liaoz. tmr got some audit talk at 8.30am...

Passionrun 2008 - 8 June

I overslept that morning, after realising that I shouldn't be 赖床-ing. So I rushed to prepare myself to go out, and met RC in his lorry at 4.30am. LC was already in the lorry. Went to pick Yokes and me and LC were at the back of the lorry, enjoying the morning (still quite dark) breeze. We were hoping LC's white white face and long hair wun scare the drivers in the surrounding cars too much :P haha

So bought breakfast at East Coast Mac Drive-through and met Nick and DanK at the East Coast carpark, while we ate breakfast on the lorry. The guys then went for their 15km flag-off.

Our 10km women's flag-off was at 7.45am. After running off at the starting point, we told each other "see you at the finishing line", knowing that we all had difference paces.

RAN AND RAN. I think the distance signages bluff ppl one, in order to motivate ppl at the start and the end of the run haha. But it was quite a good run for me, as I never stop. The motivational signages really did their job. And I like water stations supplying 100plus ahah.

One thing bad abt the run is the lousy goodie bag, with not much goodies. After hanging ard and cooling down, we went to have breakfast at the hawker centre near Parkway. Had pi dan sou rou porridge and Strawberry Milk Tea. haha.

Then went home in RC's lorry.

Yinting, I want the photos!

Growing up

Sometimes when I was walking on the streets, I saw my dad walking past me (he nv see me, and I was too far to call out to him).

I realised that my dad is already quite old (white hair and not too good vision due to previous injuries). Like a sudden realisation. and I realised that, we being the "children" have already grown up. Another sudden realisation that I'll be working soon to support my parents.

Pre-regging: 16 Jun 2008 to 3 May 2009

Pay: not a secret --> $1700

bleahhh.

我们长大了,踏入社会了.

Packed my Pharm notes

and I still have 2 more stacks of notes waiting to enter ring files which I haven't bought haha

Post-graduation Trip

I know I'm very slow, haven uploaded the photos after a few days. But I've around 1300++ pics which I'm trying to filter and rotate. So the uploading is quite slow. Pls come and peep at this entry regularly as I dun think I can upload all the pictures in 1 night :P haha.

Overall, the trip was a success!! We've Cheryl (aka group leader), me (aka treasurer cum 锁匙妹), Huazhen (aka welfare rep), Lee Cheng (aka Prof Phua) and Yimin (aka 赌/酒鬼 and who's the only non-pharmer). I became the treasurer owing to the fact that I cant read maps and navigate as well as the rest, so I took care of the finances. haha, collected "class funds" and paid for groceries/meals/tickets.

Met up with Cheryl who went to Perth first, in Melbourne, den headed to Jielin's apartment at Drummond Street (a total of 9 ppl staying in her apartment! i think that's an accomplishment too! haha). then it was travelling around.

Yarra River --> Puffing Billy (Dandenong ranges) --> Victoria Market --> St Kilda --> Philip Island --> Great Ocean Road

Arriving, Yarra River

Then we bidded goodbye to Jielin and went over to Sydney. Sydney was, to me, a less tidy place, compared to Melbourne, and the ppl are less friendly. BUT I TOTALLY LUV THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE!!! haha. very suay, it was the ONLY week in the whole year when they have no performances! and Sydney Symphony performed when we were on the domestic flight from Melbourne. SIGH!

So in Sydney, (ermz, i think this is not the correct order but, heck la haha)
Darling Harbour --> Sydney Fish Market --> Sydney Aquarium --> Sydney Opera House + Sydney Harbour Bridge + The Rocks --> Blue Mountains --> Paddy's Market --> Hunter Valley --> --> Port Stephens --> Anna Bay (sand boarding!!!) --> Queen Victoria Building

I've learnt that... EVERY COUNTRY HAS A "VICTORIA STREET" and that Queen Elizabeth went to every place in the world. hahaha.
