CNY with the physiotherapist

on CNY D3, my mum's friends came over to our place and there's this mum's friend's daughter who is a physiotherapy student.

she assessed my gait, squats with 1 leg, jumps landing on 1 leg, and palpate my patella. she made a few comments which may be quite true about my bad leg:

1. my bad leg i.e. right leg, may be due to my multiple ankle sprains when I was younger, and so my right knee has to compensate when I run. thus, my right knee underwent wear and tear more significant compared to my left knee
2. my right leg patella was slightly misaligned more towards the inner of the axis of the tendon
3. my balance with my right leg was poorer when I was standing on my right leg

lastly, she taught me how to strengthen my left hip muscle to bring up my right pelvis.

woah.... it was a gd PT (physiotherapy) session :)

anw i tink i started this blog last yr during CNY when i was waiting for reunion dinner. and it's 1 lunar year anniversary to this blog!!! hahaha~~~

yesterday (Tuesday), the Pharmacy class of 2008 gathered in red/orange/pink (CNY colours) gathered at the fountain outside Uni Hall to take CNY photos. =)

Coaxing Prof Chan (HoD) to take the centre chair and she refused to do so. wanted to squat with us. haha

and then, she chose to "lie" on the floor. haha

CNY 初二

初二was spent visiting 3 places, with dinner at my mum's ex company gathering. It's at a condo called Cote Dazur, right beside Parkway Parade (as u can see in the pic). hehe and cos one of my mum's fren's husband is a chef at Conrad hotel, he organised this whole gathering with the help of a few others, dishing out an 8-course dinner!!! woohoo! (okiez, i need to work out)

CNY 初一

My 初一 was spent at home, waiting for ppl to visit my house hehe.. in the morning, my paternal side came over, den waited awhile for 下半场 when my maternal side visited in the evening. The lunch was a scrumptious one, with more than 10 course lo!!! look at the B4 and after pics hehe :P

1st post!

heyhey frenz!!!

haha this blog is set up specially for YOU (yesh, u fren) to keep urself updated on my life (as if i'm such popular a kia... oops!) HAHA. cos realised that really alot of ppl are overseas/going overseas/graduating and wun be meeting up often liaoz. hehehe.. *clap clap clap* yesh i noe i very nice. thanks :P

i'm quite excited abt CNY u noe. cos i've shopped and bought 2 dresses, 1 top and 1 jeans skirt for CNY!!! HAHA... Dresses... I tink i need to wear them more often cos I can imagine myself putting dem at some corner of the wardrobe aft CNY haha. btw one of the dresses is black. so cannot wear to new year. but i've been psychoed to buy (by my "beloved" cousins and the ever-so-enthu shop keeper at bugis village) haha... ermz. i duno whether i'll post pics of them but if i ever take pics in them, i'll post la. HAHA.. and another dress is fr BIFC, a formal one which I tink i can wear to attachment/work next time. YAY!
